Production & Lead Time

The timeline for building your tiny home can vary based on design complexity and availability of materials. While production timelines may fluctuate, most homes are completed in an average of 4 to 6 weeks.

  • Pre-Designed Models: Standard models typically have a shorter production time, making them a quicker option for those looking to move in sooner.

Delivery

While NW Tiny Homes does not include shipping in our base prices, we can recommend experienced carriers to deliver your tiny home safely and efficiently. Whether you’re moving your tiny home a short distance or across the state, we’ll help coordinate with the best professionals to ensure a smooth delivery.

  • Shipping Recommendations: We’ll connect you with a network of experienced shipping carriers who specialize in transporting tiny homes.

  • Lead Time for Delivery: Delivery typically takes 1 to 2 weeks from the date of home completion, depending on factors like location, access, and scheduling.

  • Basic Repairs Covered: Any minor damage during transportation will be covered by our basic repair policy to ensure your home arrives in excellent condition.

Note: Make sure your property has adequate road access for delivery trucks, especially in rural or wooded areas. If needed, we can recommend contractors to assist with road preparation or site access.

Site Preparation

Proper site preparation is critical to ensure your tiny home is safely installed on your property. You can choose to handle this on your own or hire our team for professional help with site prep.

  • Site Prep Considerations: Before delivery, your site needs to be accessible and prepared with a solid, level foundation. This may include clearing driveways, preparing a rock pad or cement foundation, and ensuring utilities are ready for connection.

  • Optional Site Prep Services: We can assist in prepping your property with licensed professionals who specialize in excavating, foundation setup, and utility hookups.

  • Using Friends or Family Property: If you’re placing the home on a friend or family member’s land, we’ll provide guidance to make sure the site complies with local zoning and safety requirements.

Installation & Home Setup

Once your home is delivered, the installation process is typically completed in just 1-2 days. This includes placing the home on its foundation and connecting to utilities.

  • Full Setup Available: Our team can take care of the entire setup process, including placing the home on its foundation, connecting utilities, installing skirting, and adding steps or decks as needed.

  • Foundation Options: We offer multiple foundation solutions, including blocking, slab foundations, and hurricane ties, ensuring your home is both secure and stable.

We’ll work closely with your site preparation team to make sure everything is ready for a quick and seamless installation.

Additional Services & Support

Welcome Home Package

For those who want to walk into a perfectly prepared home, our optional Welcome Home Package ensures that everything is cleaned, inspected, and ready to go after delivery.

  • After your home arrives, our team can handle unpacking, cleaning, and addressing any touch-ups needed from shipment. We’ll take care of small repairs, install lighting fixtures, hang closet doors, and make sure your appliances are ready to go.

  • We perform a final walkthrough and inspection to ensure your home meets our high standards before you settle in.

Warranty & Aftercare
